Christmas Food Appeal 2022

Sugarloaf Lions announce the launch of our annual Food Appeal for 2022.

Amid these difficult economic times and as temperatures drop, we are anticipating an increased demand this year. We are asking the local community to support our appeal and help those in need in our local communities of Greystones, Delgany, Kilcoole, Newtownmountkennedy and Newcastle.

We aim to supply a combination of food hampers, food vouchers and fuel to more than 200 families in need over the Christmas, New Year, and early Spring period.

For the first time in 3 years, we will be collecting food in person. We will be in Dunnes Stores, Newtownmountkennedy on Dec 2nd and 3rd and Daly’s Supervalu, Greystones on Dec 16th/17th. We hope to add some more dates and locations in the coming days. We welcome all donations of non-perishable food. Cash and card donations will also be gratefully received. Please drop in and see us.
